I am a Postdoctoral Reaseacher at Computational Robotics Lab (CRL), ETH Zurich. My research is centered on computational assemblies, with the objective of designing, analyzing, and fabricating complex assemblies using sophisticated computational techniques. My work has potential applications in various fields, including toy and furniture design, mechanical engineering, and architecture.
In 2021, I earned my Ph.D. degree at Geometric Computing Laboratory (GCM), EPFL, supervised by Prof. Mark Pauly. Before that, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2017 from the University of Science and Technology of China. Since 2018, my research has been supported by NCCR Digital Fabrication where we developed computational methods for Spatial Timber Assemblies and Large-Span Self-Supporting Assemblies. At present, my research focus within NCCR Dfab is on Digital Timber and Human-Robot Collaborative Construction.
